HeatBase combines the Elektra DM10 loose heating cable with a low-profile decoupling membrane, giving you a flexible electric underfloor heating system for tiled floors.
The cable follows the formed channels in the membrane, so it can be routed neatly around bathroom fittings, kitchen units and other fixed obstacles. Choose the kit by the floor area you want to heat and the output required.
Choose the heat output by cable spacing
Approximately 160W/m²: install the cable at 2 spaces on the HeatBase membrane.
Approximately 100W/m²: install the cable at 3 spaces on the HeatBase membrane.
Do not cut or shorten the heating cable. Select the kit and spacing that suit the heated area, and follow the supplied installation instructions throughout.

Please note: coverage figures are approximate. The membrane area supplied is intentionally greater than the heated cable coverage so the HeatBase can cover the planned floor area while the cable is kept clear of fixed units and other unheated zones.

Installation Guidance
Bond HeatBase to a clean, stable and suitable subfloor with flexible tile adhesive. Install the DM10 cable and floor sensor in accordance with the supplied instructions, then fix the tiles using a compatible flexible tile adhesive. Electrical connection and testing must be completed by a suitably qualified electrician.
