Adept AD-TRAY In Screed Water Underfloor Heating Kits

Adept AD-TRAY is an in-screed water underfloor heating kit for new solid floors, extensions and beam-and-block construction.

The recycled-plastic castellated trays hold the included 16mm PERT-AL-PERT pipe at consistent 200mm centres. The pipe presses into the channels between the raised castellations, creating a neat, repeatable layout without individual floor clips. Trays can be cut to suit the room shape, and each full panel covers approximately 1m².

Each kit is configured as one heating zone. The 20m² kit uses a single-loop control pack; larger kits use an appropriately sized manifold and control pack to divide the pipework into circuits. Compatible Adept or Heatmiser controls can be added where additional zoning is required.

Choose your kit size

Select the kit using the usable heated floor area, excluding fixed furniture, kitchen units, baths and other areas where pipe will not be installed.

Included with every kit: AD-TRAY panels, 16mm PERT-AL-PERT pipe, pipe connectors and edge insulation. An A-rated pump is included where selected.

Installation notes

• AD-TRAY positions and secures the pipe; it does not replace the floor insulation.
• Install over suitable rigid insulation. Some floor constructions also require a vapour-control layer directly above the insulation.
• Use a minimum 65mm sand-and-cement screed or 50mm pumped screed, subject to the screed manufacturer's requirements.
• Final pipe spacing, flow temperature and system output should be checked against a room-by-room heat-loss calculation before ordering.
