The Adept AD-EPS400 is a low-profile water underfloor heating kit built around pre-routed, foil-topped EPS panels.
Designed for refurbishment and new-build projects where floor height is limited, the system adds approximately 20mm before the final floor finish. It can be installed over dry, level concrete, screed or suitable timber floors, with the routed panels acting as both a heat-spreading layer and pipe retainer.

Each kit contains the pre-routed foil-topped EPS panels, heating pipe, pipe connectors and the appropriate control arrangement for the selected coverage.

How is AD-EPS400 installed?
Prepare a dry, level and suitable concrete, screed or timber floor base. Lay the AD-EPS400 panels, then press the heating pipe into the pre-routed channels. The foil-topped board retains the pipe and forms part of the completed floor build-up. Pressure-test the pipework before applying the specified adhesive, underlay or floor-finish system.
Floor-finish guidance
- Tiles: can be installed over the correctly prepared AD-EPS400 system using the recommended compatible tile adhesive or underlay.
- Wood, vinyl and carpet: install using a suitable build-up that meets the floor-finish manufacturer's requirements.
- Compatibility: follow the requirements of the flooring, adhesive, underlay and panel manufacturers.
System planning
Confirm the room heat loss, substrate condition, available floor build-up and final floor finish before installation. Select the kit by the clear heated floor area and have the system connected, tested and commissioned by a suitably competent installer.
