The Adept AD-CXPS is a low-profile water underfloor heating kit built around pre-routed, cement-coated XPS panels.
Designed for projects where floor height is limited, the system adds approximately 18–20mm before the final floor finish. The heating pipe is pressed into the routed channels, allowing each panel to retain the pipe and become an integral part of the floor build-up. Kits cover clear heated areas from 12m² to 97m².

How is AD-CXPS installed?
Prepare a sound, level and suitable floor base, then lay the AD-CXPS panels and press the heating pipe into the pre-routed channels. The panel acts as the pipe retainer and remains as part of the completed floor build-up. Pressure-test the pipework before applying the required floor-finish system.
Floor-finish guidance
- Tiles: can be installed over the correctly prepared AD-CXPS system using compatible installation materials.
- Other floor finishes: apply a 5mm latex levelling layer before installing the selected finish.
- Compatibility: follow the requirements of the floor-finish, adhesive and levelling-compound manufacturers.
System planning
Confirm the room heat loss, available floor build-up, substrate condition and final floor finish before installation. Select the kit by the clear heated floor area and have the system connected, tested and commissioned by a suitably competent installer.
