A panel-and-pipe system with a reinforced levelling-compound finish.
Designed for a sound existing structural floor. Plan the 12mm pipe, specified compound and final flooring together to confirm the complete finished height.
Panels and 12mm pipe are covered by a specified reinforced levelling compound. Ask our team to check the base, finished height and flooring.
A reinforced retrofit construction
The finished height includes preparation, heating components, compound and floor covering.

Need Help Deciding?
Is AD-SLIM Max Right for Your Floor?
Send the existing floor details, available height, planned finish and room drawings. We can help confirm the build-up and prepare a system supply quotation.
Agree the panel layout, pipe circuits, compound specification and flooring before work starts.
1Agree the specification: Confirm the base, available height, heat loss, floor finish and approved compound system.
2Prepare and lay the system: Prepare the base, apply the required primer or fixing materials and install the panels and pipe layout.
3Connect, test and encapsulate: Connect the circuits, pressure-test them and apply the specified reinforced levelling compound.
4Cure, finish and commission: Follow compound and flooring curing requirements, then balance the circuits and commission the controls and heat source.
Confirm the available height
Measure the Complete Floor Build-Up
The stated 20mm reinforced-compound layer is not a promise of a 20mm finished floor. Preparation, heating components and the selected covering must all be included in the system detail.
Check doors, thresholds and adjoining floor levels before ordering
Confirm any additional smoothing layer required for carpet or vinyl
Allow the specified compound and floor finish to cure before commissioning

Where AD-SLIM Max Works Best
Choose it for a sound structural floor where a reinforced overlay construction is appropriate. It cannot make an unstable floor suitable for heating.
Renovations where the supporting floor is being retained
A base that is sound, level and suitable for the proposed loading
A compatible boiler or heat pump with a designed manifold and controls
An approved floor covering and complete levelling-compound specification
Typical AD-SLIM Max Floor Build-Up
Read the diagram from the supporting floor upwards. The final specification confirms materials, depths and floor-finish preparation.
1Sound structural subfloor — Prepared, clean and level.
2Specified primer and fixing materials — Matched to the base and installation method.
3AD-SLIM Max panel and 12mm pipe — Laid to the heating design and pressure-tested.
4Specified reinforced levelling compound — Applied at the designed depth and allowed to cure.
5Required finishing layers and floor covering — Including any smoothing layer, adhesive and compatible finish.

Frequently Asked Questions
Is AD-SLIM Max the same as AD-SLIM?
No. AD-SLIM is a grooved gypsum-board system. AD-SLIM Max relies on the specified panel, pipe and reinforced levelling-compound construction.
Does it add only 20mm to the floor?
Do not use 20mm as the total finished height. It describes the specified reinforced compound layer; preparation and the final floor covering affect the overall build-up.
Can it go over an existing timber floor?
Only where the timber floor is structurally suitable and the complete preparation and fixing specification approves it. A moving or weak base must be corrected first.
Can carpet or vinyl be laid directly over it?
Do not assume direct laying is suitable. Confirm the additional smoothing or preparation layer, compatible adhesive and flooring requirements before installation.
