What Floor Finish Can I Use With Warm Water Underfloor Heating?

Warm Water UFH can work with almost any floor finish including ceramic tiles, stone, carpet, vinyl and laminate. It is most important to check the thermal resistance (usually marked as R-value or TOG), of any OTHER floor finish. The lower the thermal resistance - the more heat will be passed through it.

Uheat recommends maximum thermal resistance of 0.25m²K/W (2.5 TOG).
